Tango originated in Argentina at about the end of the XIX century; it is a very elegant and sensual dance that we enjoy socially. Tango also offers significant physical and mental health benefits, including improved balance, coordination, and mood, making it a lifelong activity for people of all ages.
While there are a few competitions here and there, we dance tango mainly for connection, to meet people, to express ourselves in a non-verbal form, to enjoy social community and, most importantly, because it feels really, really good.
